Your past is part of your story. It does not have to become your identity.
Dr. Ella Jackson understands the importance of proper guidance, encouragement, and support in the life of a young girl.
She also understands what it feels like when those things aren't consistently available.
Her own childhood experiences helped shape a lifelong passion for creating the kinds of environments young girls need to recognize their value, develop resilience, discover their abilities, and imagine a future beyond what they may currently see around them.
Difficult childhood experiences can influence how a girl views herself, relationships, opportunities, and the world around her.
Without healthy guidance, pain can become identity.
Dr. Jackson's enrichment workshops help girls discover another possibility.

My Best Self is an intentional personal-development experience designed to help girls strengthen identity, self-worth, character, confidence, and vision.
The program takes participants through four developmental areas.
Before young girls can confidently move toward their future, they need a healthy understanding of themselves.
Participants explore:
The goal isn't to erase the past.
It is to help girls understand:
“Something may have happened to me, but what happened to me does not have to become who I am.”
Once identity begins to strengthen, girls are challenged to imagine possibility.
Who could I become?
What does the healthiest, strongest, most fulfilled version of me look like?
Participants work toward:
Girls leave understanding that becoming your best self isn't a single decision.
It's something you build.
Dreams require more than desire.
They require character.
Participants are introduced to eight character traits associated with personal development and success. Through discussion, reflection, and activities, girls begin examining which traits are already strengths and which need intentional development.
Participants will:
The central question becomes:
The final stage moves from identity and character toward purpose and vision.
Participants explore:
The goal is for every participant to begin seeing a future worth protecting, preparing for, and fighting for.
The My Best Self experience is designed to strengthen:
Identity. Self-worth. Confidence. Resilience. Character. Boundaries. Decision-making. Personal responsibility. Purpose. Vision.
Most importantly, girls are encouraged to see themselves differently—not simply according to their circumstances today, but according to the person they have the potential to become tomorrow.
Workshops can be developed for schools, girls' organizations, youth programs, churches, community organizations, nonprofits, mentoring programs, and special events.
Give your girls an opportunity to discover something bigger than their circumstances:
THEMSELVES.
